Conquering the unknown, now sentenced to rot
Captured by tribesmen for rituals impure
Laid before the altar, oblation for the gods

The high priest lends the knife to be sharpened by hand
In rusty infested meat hooks their victims shall be hanged

Boiled innards, festering pus
Fried vessels, a gruesome delight
Skull cut clean, the brain’s exposed
The feast is ready to be devoured

No one heard them scream across the river’s edge
And their predators now seem to enjoy that putrid stench
They drink the blood fresh as they eat up their prey
A cursed quest for blood the natives made them pay
